I’m Sean and I have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

The short story is that I just love making people happy and i’ve found live events to be my medium for achieving that.

The long story is that it all started in about 6th grade in my hometown of Rockford, IL. That was my first foray into DJ-ing. Bringing in a home theater audio system I bought at a garage sale to our 6th grade dance, I was given the honor of DJ. I cued up CD’s in the changer and had us all dancing and having fun a safe arms length away from one another. From that point on I was hooked, I grew my equipment and continued to DJ all my own school dances (with the exception of my Senior prom). While this was all going on, I was getting hands on training as a lighting designer and programmer at my church. Starting on the ETC Expression console with an array of conventional fixtures, I grew alongside the church until we were running a Vista T4 console and in excess of 80 moving fixtures. During my senior year of high school I was connected by a mutual friend to Jordan Chance and Luxe Productions. During that year I trained as a Wedding DJ and began that side of work the summer after high school. I attended my Freshman year of college at UW-Milwaukee as an electrical engineering major, driving back to Rockford every weekend to DJ a wedding. I transferred to U of Illinois my sophomore year, continuing to drive back every weekend to DJ weddings. I graduated with a BS in Technical Systems Management and stayed on campus for two more years working as a lab assistant while my wife completed her masters. Upon her completion we moved to Chicago, and I decided to take on DJ-ing and events full time. Two years in I retired as a DJ to take on event design full time. From there on, I have worked to build Luxe Productions into a trusted name in AV Event Design in the Chicago area.
