AFR Blueprint To Success

Tasked with providing the ambiance for the afterparty of AFR furnitures annual showcase event, I chose to make the rooftop of Lacuna Artists loft a beacon when viewed from the city while highlighting AFR’s furniture elements in ways they have not been used before.

Providing sponsorship logos was done in multiple ways. First, AFR custom printed the front of their 6’ Glow Bar which was used as the DJ table. Second, we projected sponsor logos across the brick structure that housed the elevator. Third we projected the AFR logo across the water tower which was visible from the city.

Beam fixtures were placed on AFR glow pedestals projecting columns of light into the Chicago sky. These beams moved and changed color throughout the evening.

Finally, uplighting was used throughout the interior space, and wash lighting was used over the food and bar elements on the rooftop.
